ASUS is prepping for the release of its new 18.4-inch High-End Laptop, from its K-Series with the model name K93SM. The Asus K93SM comes equipped with a large 18.4-inch screen that offers a Full HD 1920×1080 pixel resolution and LED backlighting. Other than its humongous display it also pack some powerful specs, it comes with the option of two Sandy Bridge processors; the Intel Core i5-2450M and the Core i7-2670QM processors.
Users will also get to choose from a 500GB or 1TB hard drive, it comes with 8GB of RAM and has a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 630M GPU with 1GB of memory. Other specifications of the laptop includes WiFi 802.11 b/g/n connectivity, there’s a Gigabit Ethernet port, USB 3.0 port, a 3-in-1 memory card reader, a chiclet keyboard and IceCool technology, which ensure the palm rest stays cool and comfortable.
Even though the ASUS K93SM could be used for gaming, the company isn’t advertising it as a gaming laptop, basically just as an high-end one. The ASUS K93SM 18.4-inch High-End Notebook PC will be unloaded to the European market and starts at 849 euros to 1,149 euros with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit OS.
