In addition to unveiling the Transformer Pad 300 at the Mobile World Congress 2012, Asus also unveiled the Transformer Pad Infinity. The Pad Infinity is more aimed at users who uses their tablet for multimedia purposes, such as watching movies and videos.
The tablet boasts a 10-inch Super IPS+ capacitive touchscreen display that offers a 1920×1200 pixel resolution and an ultra wide 178 degree viewing angle. Users will have the choice to grab the Pad Infinity with Qualcomm’s 1.5GHz dual-core S4 Krait processor in 3G/4G configuration or with NVIDIA’s 1.5GHz quad-core Tegra 3 CPU in the Wi-Fi only models.
The tablet comes with the option to be easily converted into a netbook by simply attaching a base dock that has a keyboard and trackpad, there is an 8-megapixel camera on the rear-side with autofocus, f/2.2 lens and LED flash plus a 2-megapixel camera on the front for video chats. The tablet runs Android 4.0 ICS OS with a customized interface, no pricing details announced.
