A Chinese-based tablet maker called Hyundai has unveiled its new affordable Android Tablet that goes for only $79 per unit. The Hyundai A7 (not to be confused with the Korean car manufacturer) if you can ever find it in your local market, since the brand is pretty unknown. The tablet comes equipped with a 7-inch touchscreen display with a 800×480 pixel resolution, it’s powered by an 1.5GHz Allwinner A10 processor, 512MB of DDR RAM and up to 8GB of internal storage.
Other capabilities of the Hyundai A7 includes the ability to playback 1080p HD videos, it features an HDMI output, SD and TF card support. Unfortunately the makers thought that its wasn’t necessary to add Bluetooth connectivity nor GPS support. The Hyundai A7 will only be available on the China market and reportedly also runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS.
