ViewSonic has expanded its ViewPad series with the new ViewPad 10e Tablet that runs the Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS. The new tablet comes equipped with a 9.7-inch IPS LCD touchscreen display with a 1024×600 resolution, it is powered by a 1GHz Cortex A8 processor with 512MB of RAM. It comes with a 9.1mm thick frame which plays host for a few essential features such as WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity, there is a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera and 4GB of internal storage plus a microSD/SDHC memory card slot for additional storage options.
The ViewPad 10e also comes with mini HDMI output which allows the streaming of HD content on a bigger screen. It runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread with ViewScene 3D user interface that offers a 3D style interface and up to 16 customisable panes. No pricing details were found for the new ViewSonic ViewPad 10e.
