The Toshiba Thrive ad seems to be rotating a lot on the television nowadays which goes to show that it’s not doing so good with sales and here is another from Toshiba called the AT200. The Thrive features a thick chassis and not so fast performance could be the downside to the Thrive. This could be the reason why Toshiba decided to make the AT200 as thin as they could which ended up being 0.30in which is thinner than the newly released Galaxy Tab 7.7.
It comes equipped with a 10.1-inch touchscreen display with a 1280×800 pixel resolution, it is powered by a 1.2GHz TI OMAP 4430 Dual-Core processor which should deliver a much better performance than the Thrive. Other specifications of the Toshiba AT200 includes a 5-megapixel camera on the rear of the device, a 2-megapixel camera on the front of the device, it promises an 8 hour battery life, a brushed metal finish and weighs in at 19.7oz.
The AT200 comes with up to 64GB of internal storage plus there is a microSD card slot that supports cards up to 32GB, there are also connectivity options which includes a microUSB, microHDMI on the edge of the device. The Toshiba AT200 runs the Android 3.2 Honeycomb OS and is expected to hit the European Market during Q4 but no pricing information has been announced.
