T-Mobile has made an announcement regarding its plans to unveil the new Huawei Sonic 4G Mobile HotSpot device to its customers. The Sonic 4G Mobile HotSpot is the company’s fastest mobile hotspot supporting the 4G HSPA+ 42 network and it comes with the ability to allow up to five WiFi-enabled devices to be connected and share the connection at any one time, it supports devices such as Smartphones, Tablets, Music Players and Notebooks as well.
It comes equipped with an OLED display that shows the device’s signal strength, the number of devices connected, it showcased the battery level of the device, network connection type, connectivity to the internet and the number of unread text messages. The Huawei Sonic 4G Mobile HotSpot is fairly lightweight at just 3.88oz it is ideal for the traveling business man or users who just wants to stay connected, it also comes with a built-in microSD card slot for easy file transfer. No pricing information was detailed in the press release that was sent out by the carrier on September 26, 2011.
A few new Smartphones were also included in the press release such as the new HTC Amaze 4G and the Samsung Galaxy S II which will be available for pre-sale exclusive online starting on October 10 and in-stores starting on October 12, but you can check out Loopy Cellphones for more coverage on newly released and leaked devices.
