Sony Ericsson recently announced two new Smartphones with a worldwide competition open to over 4.8 million fans that follow Sony Ericsson on Facebook. The new Smartphones are the Sony Ericsson MIX Walkman and the txt Pro Messaging Smartphone. The MIX Walkman features a 3-inch touchscreen capacitive display with a native resolution of 400×240 with scratch resistant. It comes with a body that measures 95.8 x 52.8 x 14.3mm and weighs in at 88grams, it was designed specially for music enthusiasts along with its new Zappin(TM) key which enables the user to search for his/her favorite song or simple press the key to preview the chorus of the next track and decide if that the next track they want to listen, it comes with a karaoke mode that will lower the volume of the vocal track in the song to make it more easier to sing along to.
The Sony Ericsson txt Pro comes with a 3-inch capacitive touchscreen display with a 400×240 pixel resolution, it comes equipped with a 3.2-megapixel camera with video recording and a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard in a landscape view and has a design that is very similar to the Xperia Mini Pro Android Smartphone. It comes with social networking integration for access to Facebook and Twitter which enables the user to see updates from their top five friends plus it packs a battery that delivers up to 5 hours and 10 minutes of talk time and almost 17 days of standby time from a single charge.
Both the Mix Walkman and the txt Pro has some similar specs such as Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity. The Sony Ericsson Mix Walkman will debut in the colors of Black with pink cloud band, Black with pink band, Black with green bird band, and Black with green band and they are both expected to be launched globally in selected market start Q3 2011.
