Vodafone has start offering the new Galaxy Tab 10.1v Tablet to its subscribers in Portugal. The Tablet comes running Google’s Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) OS and packs the power of NVIDIA’s Tegra 2 chip which has dual-cores processing at 1GHz. The Tablet is expected to bring a 10.1-inch touchscreen display with a 1280×800 resolution, 16GB of flash memory, a rear facing 8-megapixel camera with 1080p recording and flash plus there is also a front-facing 2-megapixel camera that comes in handy when its time for video chats. The tablet also comes with other noteworthy specifications including WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1, there is an accelerometer, a digital compass, a USB port, HSPA+ support and integrated surround sound speakers. The Galaxy Tab 10.1v was kicked off by Vodafone in Portugal yesterday, no pricing information has been found but the tablet should also be hitting the Netherlands later this week.
