T-Mobile has officially announced its new Sidekick 4G by Samsung that comes with support for HSPA+ 4G mobile network and offers up to 21Mbps peak download speeds. Like the previous Sidekick Smartphone, the Sidekick 4G also features a five-row QWERTY keyboard that can be tilted for a more comfortable use when messaging, the handset also comes with Sidekick Group Text and Cloud Text that according to the company will redefine messaging. It gets a 3.5-inch touchscreen display, there are dual-cameras: a main 3-megapixel camera and a VGA camera on the front for video chats, there is WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity.
It is powered by a 1GHz Cortex A8 Hummingbird processor, it runs the Android 2.2 OS and also comes with an integrated Media Room that offers users a place to enjoy music, videos, T-Mobile TV, Movies, Slacker Radio, Youtube and other content. The new T-mobile Sidekick will be released this spring in the colors of matte black or pearl magenta.
