MSI has unveiled its new GX680 Notebook PC that was developed specially for Gamers, and to make sure that it does what it was developed for MSI equipped the Laptop with Intel’s second-generation Core i7 quad-core processor backed by 16GB of DDR3 RAM which is supplied by four DDR3 memory slots. The notebook’s graphics is managed by NVIDIA’s GeForce GT555M dedicated graphics card, it gets a 15.6-inch 1920×1080 or 1366×768 LED-backlit display along with other specifications such as Bluetooth 2.1 and WiFi connectivity.
The Notebook also offers RAID 0 and RAID 1 options for performance and features a dual-drive architecture as well. There are built-in 2.1-channel speakers with Dynaudio and THX TruStudio Pro technologies and other features such as a memory card reader, two USB 3.0 ports, an integrated HD Webcam, HDMI output and eSATA port.
The GX680 comes with MSI’s own ECO Engine, a power-saving technology which allows you to select from among five power management levels including Video Game, Film, Presentation, Word Processing, and Turbo Battery.
