Hitachi Technologies has announced its new iPJ-AW250N Interactive LCD Projector which is scheduled to be released later this year. The new iPJ-AW250N comes with all the benefits of the company’s recently available Ultimate Short Throw series, it offers innovations including Hitachi Starboard Soft Duo software to deliver a complete interactive experience on any flat surface, it comes with easy setup features, there is a built-in sensor that uses infrared and ultrasonic waves that, when integrated together with the well established Hitachi Starboard software, and to make setup even more easy they will be shipping the device with a easy install wall mount that makes the precise setup and fine adjustments both quick and simple.
Other specifications of the Hitachi iPJ-AW250N are a WXGA resolution, a 2500 Lumens brightness, a 2000:1 contrast ratio, integrated 10w speaker, an extended lamp life of at least 5000 hours when operated in the automatically selected eco mode and a hybrid filter that further reduces cost and maintenance requirements. The Hitachi iPJ-AW250N will be released across Europe in April 2011, no pricing information has been announced.
