In addition to the Cyber-Shot DSC-TX10 Rugged Digital Camera, Sony also unveiled the DSC-HX7V Compact Digital Camera and like the TX10, the HX7V also captures 3D still images and offers 3D Sweep Panorama capture as well and it is already available for pre-order over at Amazon for a price of $299.99. It features a 16.2 Megapixel Exmor R CMOS image sensor, a 10x optical zoom Sony G lens, and supports Full HD 1080/60i AVCHD video recording.
But thats not all, the Cyber-shot DSC-HX7V also comes with an integrated GPS feature with a compass that will record your location and direction of every photo taken. It also comes with advanced features including Sony’s TransferJet technology which enables the transferring of recorded content to compatible devices, there is Backlight Correction HDR function, Background Defocus, Optical SteadyShot image stabilization, Smile Shutter technology, Face Detection technology, Anti-blink Function, Motion detection and it also comes with a HDMI port which enables the preview of recorded videos and photos on your HDTV. The Cyber-shot DSC-HX7V will be available in the colors of blue, white, black and pink.
