In addition to the Blackberry Dakota, RIM’s 2011 Smartphone line up also details a Torch 2 and the Blackberry Curve Apollo. The Blackberry Torch 2 comes with a 1.2 GHz processor compared to the 600MHz Processor on the first Torch. Other noteworthy specifications of the Torch 2 includes a 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen display with a 640×480 pixel resolution, it has a 5-Megapixel camera with flash, NFC (near field communication), Bluetooth 2.1, WiFi, GPS, 512MB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. The Blackberry Torch 2 is expected to be shipped with the Blackberry OS 6.1 and support quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE and tri-band HSPA 14.4Mbps networks.

The Curve Apollo on the other hand features a 480×360 HVGA display, powered by a Marvel Tavor MG-1 800MHz Processor, a 5 megapixel camera with flash , NFC connectivity, 512MB RAM, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS.
