ClearWire announces its new CLEAR Sport 4G and CLEAR 4G+ mobile WiFi hotspots and the CLEAR 4G+ Mobile USB modem onto the market. These devices are aimed at consumers who want to have wireless 4G connectivity while on the go. The CLEAR Spot 4G and 4G+ both are mobile hotspots that shares 4G connection via WiFi. The CLEAR Spot 4G+ offers support for Sprint’s 3G network, offers up to 3 hours of battery life and can connect up to five devices at once while the CLEAR Spot 4G connects up to 8 WiFi-enabled devices with a 4 hours battery life.
Both are available for pre-order right now at $99.99 or for a $4.99 monthly lease and $224.99 or for a $5.99 lease per month, respectively.
The CLEAR 4G+ Mobile USB is a USB modem supporting both Clearwire’s 4G and Sprint’s 3G network, it was made by Sierra Wireless for the Clearwire WiMAX 4G service provider.
It will work with your MacBook and MacBook Pro laptops using Mac OS X Versions 10.5.x and 10.6.x as well as netbooks and notebooks running Windows XP SP2, Vista and Windows 7, all in 32- and 64-bit versions. You can buy it for $114.99 or lease it monthly for $5.99.
