If you were thinking of getting a new high-definition television so you can watch the world cup matches on a crystal, crisp display, however the funds you got do not match the price tags, well your in luck as Westinghouse just gave you a budget friendly option with the launch of a slew of affordable LED HDTVs. All the new HDTVs uses LED technology, they measure approximately 1-inch thick and just 1.5-inches at the glass.
A total of eight models were released ranging from sizes of 24-inch to 55-inch. Firstly there is the Westinghouse LD-245 which gets a 24-inch LED 1080p display which weighs approximately 9.26lbs and is expected to be priced under $299, the Westinghouse LD-265 with a 26-inch LED display, weighs less than 11lbs and should be priced around $329.
The 32-inch Westinghouse LD-325 which features a 720P resolution, the Westinghouse LD-328 sports a 1080P resolution, then there is the Westinghouse LD-425 that gets a 42-inch LED display and is expected to be priced on the $799 range. At the high-end there is the Westinghouse’s 55-inch LD-55F970Z and 46-inch LD-46F970Z, they both features a 6ms response time, a 120Hz refresh rate, 3D noise reduction, judder removal for flicker-free performance and 3 HDMI ports. All models up to 42-inch are Energy Star 5.0 compliant meaning they are energy savers, while the others meets Energy Star 4.0 requirements.
