Sanyo unveiled the new ultra Short-Focus Projector which is targeted at educators and business professionals, the LP-WL2500. SANYO was the first in the industry to come out with an ultra short-focus projector that can project a large image from a short distance. The projector is based on LCD display system and comes equipped with a 230W NSHA lamp offering 1280×800 resolution, 2500 lumens brightness, 500:1 contrast ratio, Full color (16.7 million) reproducibility and 80% uniformity.
The Sanyo LP-WL2500 Projector also features Sanyo’s hybrid filter which composed of multiple filter layers and long-life lamp, the projector offers long periods of maintenance-free use. It has the capability to produce a 80-inch image from a distance of only 86 cm and offers connectivity with one HDMI 1.3 inputs, two D-sub inputs as well as RCA, Ethernet LAN Port and S-video inputs. It will be released in July 2010 and costs 260,400 Yen.
