As early as yesterday evening, reports of 30GB Zunes crashing began to surface on Microsoft support forums and gadget blogs. Haven’t you heard? All Microsoft 30GB Zune crashed as 2009 approached. Now Microsoft is explaining what really happened why the Zune crashed.
According to Microsoft this was caused by a bug in the internal clock driver related to the way the device handles a leap year. How whack is that? Now they are saying that the music player’s issue should be resolved over the next 24 hours as the time change moves to January 1, 2009. Good Luck all you Zune owners right now I am glad I am a iPod owner.
